I am a fourth-generation editor with 14 years of editing experience and expertise. My father is a retired trade magazine editor, my grandfather was a local newspaper publisher, my granduncle was an editor at the San Francisco Chronicle and my great-grandfather was an editor at numerous daily and weekly newspapers.

As an editor, my work is split between book editing and academic editing. As a book editor I edit manuscripts on such wide ranging topics as apple growing, baseball, basketball, concussions, diamonds, dogs, farming, fishing, football, gardening, golf, hiking, hockey, horse racing, lichens, philosophy, plastic and travel. As an academic editor I edit reports and journal articles in science and philosophy for several international scientific and development organizations as well as individual philosophers and scientists.

I hold a diploma in tourism and travel, a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, master’s degrees in both philosophy and journalism and pursue a PhD in philosophy whenever spare time permits.
